Luke Musgrave Scouting Report

"Prototype framed up receiving TE with speed and ball skills that also shows some physicality and power as both an inline and move blocker. The catch is he didn't do anything at OSU."

Strengths:

Big framed receiving TE with above board athleticism and ball skills. Bursts off the line with suddenness. Reliable, makes contested catches and has the speed to split seems. Experienced blocker and competes hard both in line and on the move. Clutch.

Weaknesses:

Lacks ideal agility and isn't a route salesman. Meager career production with just two receiving TDs. Suffered a knee injury that ended his 22' season.

Overall:

Musgrave was severely underutilized at Oregon State for a variety of reasons. His traits don't match up at all with his on field production. He's a prototype framed up TE with impressive speed and burst.

He's got ideal ball skills and regularly makes high difficulty catches. While blocking isn't exactly a strength, he competes well right now and will likely get stronger.
