2022 DRAFT BIG BOARD

A line in the sand: LOS prospects headline the 2022 NFL draft

updated 2-26-22

1. DE Aidan Hutchinson | Michigan

Hutchinson played nearly as well in 2020 but just missed on finishes. This season he's cashed in and let very few opportunities slip.

2. OT Ikem Ekwonu | N.C. State

Guard sized tackle with length limitations but Ekwonu is twitched up, has rare athletic ability, solid technique and prototype aggressiveness.

3. OG Evan Neal | Alabama

Neal's a mountain of a man with athleticism but imo doesn't have the ideal twitch and foot quickness of a top tier LT. He can play tackle but I think he projects better inside or as an interior blocker.

4. OC Tyler Linderbaum | Iowa

Linderbaum isn't quite as powerful inside as Creed Humphrey was coming out but he's a similar technician and more mobile.

5. RB Kenneth Walker | Michigan St

Walker's a game changing runner with power, breakaway speed and receiving ability.

6. DE/ED Kayvon Thibodeaux | Oregon

Motor.. speed...strength....motor. Thibodeaux isn't a technician but he outworks and out athlete's everyone he's up against on the field.

7. LB Devin Lloyd | Utah

The best off ball linebacker in the draft, Lloyd's last three steps to the ball are the most explosive of any defender in this class.

8. LB Nakobe Dean | Georgia

Eye popping combination of power and burst that can look devastating when he anticipates correctly.

9. S Kyle Hamilton | Notre Dame

A size/speed freak show that's a raw prospect on the backend but clearly possessing incredible upside.

10. OT Charles Cross | Mississippi St

Cross is the best LT prospect in this class.

11. CB Trent McDuffie | Washington

Top notch quickness with solid size and puts in work versus the run. His awareness, technique and complete game put him at CB#1 for me.

12. DE Jermaine Johnson | Florida St

Point of attack power and closing speed are Johnson's one two punch, and, while still not ideal, he's improved his fluidity since his Georgia days.

13. CB Kaiir Elam | Florida

Prototypical tools corner that looks like a future lock down guy when he's engaged.

14. RB Isaiah Spiller | Texas A&M

Spiller's an underrated RB prospect. He's shown elite vision and short area change of direction along with receiving ability. His running style reminds of a less explosive Adrian Peterson.

15. RB Breece Hall | Iowa St

Backfield weapon with breakaway speed, vision and receiving ability. At 220 lbs he strikes me as a bigger Miles Sanders.

16. CB Derek Stingley | LSU

Stingley's been a bit more hit and miss than his reputation belies but his ceiling is still that of a rare shut down corner.

17. WR Treylon Burks | Arkansas

Burks is that rare 50/50 ball skills, big receiver that also has short area quickness and cod. I get Clemson Mike Williams vibes from him.

18. OG Kenyon Green | Texas A&M

Versatile interior shock trooper with short area explosiveness, mobility and quick feet.

19. WR Jameson Williams | Alabama

Hard nosed blazer with blistering deep speed is far and away the best deep threat playmaker in this class.

20. QB Matt Corral | Ole Miss

Corral has tools. He's got a strong arm with a quick release, solid accuracy and game changing mobility. The rub is that he was turnover prone prior to his junior year. If his improved game management carries over as a pro he'll be a solid starting pro QB.

21. WR Garrett Wilson | Ohio St

Impressive short area quickness and elite ball skills can make Wilson appear undefendable on Saturdays. However, his overall speed and size could cap his ceiling as a pro.

22. CB Andrew Booth Jr | Clemson

Booth's a physical playmaker that could be a monster of a zone corner.

23. WR Drake London | USC

London's a 6'5 dominant catch point receiver that absolutely bullies DBs but his just adequate speed and quickness make 50/50 balls a regular necessity.

24. DE George Karlaftis | Purdue

A combination of power, quickness and hustle has made Karlaftis a dominant college rusher since day one...the key to translating that success is getting adept with his hands.

25. S Daxton Hill | Michigan

Hill's a versatile slot defender that can look shot out of a cannon filling against the run.

26. LB Chad Muma | Wyoming

Athletic riser that's demonstrated a complete game... filling vs the run, defending the pass and reliable tackling.

27. CB Ahmad Gardner | Cincinnati

Owner of the best CB film in this class, Gardner has the skill set of an elite corner but needs to back it up with elite athleticism.

28. DE Travon Walker | Georgia

Walker's a muscled up poa defender that I think is better suited at the 5 technique then out on the edge.

29. DE/ED Drake Jackson | USC

Long, wiry edge guy with top tier fluidity and speed that's gotten a bit overlooked in this deep class.

30. OT Abraham Lucas | Washington St

This offensive tackle class is a bit of a eye of the beholder group. For me, Lucas appears like an ideal RT prospect with length, power and easy open field athleticism.

31. RB Brian Robinson | Alabama

Next up Bama runner compares favorably to Najee imo. He's a power back with short area elusiveness, burst and reliable receiving ability.

32. S Jalen Pitre | Baylor

Pitre does everything you want a DB to do. He covers, fills the run and can make plays.

33. WR David Bell | Michigan St

34. QB Kenny Pickett | Pitt

35. RB Kyren Williams | Notre Dame

36. WR Wan'Dale Robinson | Kentucky

37. LB Damone Clark | LSU

38. LB Mike Rose | Iowa St
