"He's got the footwork, technique, and strength to play OT but not the height or length. He played inside senior week and dominated there."
Strengths:
Quick athletic mover with lateral quickness and balance. Can fire off the line and into the 2nd level under control. Forceful puncher and locks out with his long arms effectively. Big time run blocker who finds his targets and takes them out. Played through pain the entire season at a high level with an injury.
Wynn has been a solid blind side protector with quick feet, balance and technique. A inch or so taller and he'd likely be the best OT in this class. In the clip above he helps out the OG before smoothy stepping out on the stand up DE.
But where he shines is run blocking. In this clip he drives this poor DE nearly 5 yds off the los and through the whistle.
Weaknesses:
Lacks height and has a thin lower body. Small hands. Suffered thru a torn labrum his senior year and required surgery after the season.
Overall:
Wynn was arguably the most dominant OL at the senior week practices before opting to have surgery on his labrum.
He's got the footwork, technique, and strength to play OT but not the height or length. He's long armed but a 6’3 LT is pushing it. However, I'm sure he'd hold his own there. He played inside senior week and dominated there as well so his versatility will spike his draft stock.
