Strengths
Big, solid blocking TE with clutch hands and superb ball skills. A go to target in the red zone, 3rd down and play action. Great body control and good mobility for an inline style TE. Solid blocker inline and on the move.
Weaknesses
Often doesn't come out of breaks with enough quickness. Makes the difficult key catches but drops the ordinary ones and often a body catcher.
Soph knee injury slowed his entire college career and he wound up with little production.
Overall
Orndoff jumped out the screen for Pitt his senior year to me and looked like the 2nd best receiver on the field in their upset win vs Clemson. He's a fiery big blocking TE that also possesses easy mobility and soft hands.
His lack of production inside a great TE class has him a little lost in the shuffle but he's a good candidate to outperform his draft position.
