11 starts, 2241 yards, 59%, 16TD, 4int, 90.7 rating, with another 468yds rushing and 2TDs for the awful Chip Kelly Niners in 2016. Besides a forgettable outing December at Chicago, Kaepernick played respectably last season. Stats can't tell the whole story, but in this case neither does the tape.
Kaepernick poured some more gas on a politically charged year with his particular brand of protest. But he exasperated both sides by his arbitrary political stances on hot button issues. QB deficient teams this off-season will be asking if Can Kaepernick can ever be a good enough QB again to tip the risk/reward in their favor.
